Taught by former police investigator and criminal profiler Steven David Lampley, this course provides an in-depth examination of human decomposition and its critical role in homicide investigations.

 

Students will learn to recognize and interpret the stages of decomposition, environmental and biological factors affecting body decay, and how these processes influence time-of-death estimation.

 

The course also explores forensic entomology and its timeline.
