FORENSICS AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE SEMINARS
PROFILING THE PEDOPHILE:
A Multifaceted Dichotomy
This one hour lecture from former 21-year career police officer and undercover SVU detective (Crimes Against Children), Steven David Lampley, covers a wealth of information. Some of the topics discussed in this one-hour lecture are
• What to look for (pedophile indicators)
• Pedophile vs Molester
• Classification Dichotomy
• Sub Classifications
• Psychology of Actions
• Psychological Mindset
Steven worked deep undercover, having built a new investigative division from the ground up. This new division was very successful in identifying and apprehending predators and pedophiles, including a Fugitive from Justice listed on Canada's Most Wanted.
While undercover, Steven worked closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Postal Inspector's Service, Department of Justice's United States Attorney's Office, Alabama Attorney General's Office (Troy King), and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Steven's new investigative division was so successful, he helped train other law enforcement agencies.
Steven is now a speaker with his in-demand and standing room only keynote presentation, How to Identify Lies & Deception and an author of such books as I Was the Girl, his behind-the-scenes account of identifying and apprehending child predators and pedophiles, child pornographers, and child traffickers.
Steven is a writer for the world's leading psychology magazine, Psychology Today, as well as a contributing writer for Law Enforcement Today. He is a regular guest on FOX Nation and Sirius Radio on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace with over sixty-five appearances.
As the Founder and Director of The Oliphant Institute for Forensics and Criminal Justice, he regularly gives lectures on important topics of interest.
